Shift Capital announces Phase II of the Beury Project

Beury Phase II North Broad philadelphia
Shift Capital is excited to announce the next phase of the redevelopment of Broad, Erie & Germantown Ave. With the mixed-use development of the Beury Building (Phase I) scheduled to begin construction in 2018, the Shift Capital team is releasing its preliminary designs for the 3700 block of North Broad Street.

Working with Philadelphia’s own Digsau, the preliminary plans will utilize the core strength of Broad & Erie – a transit hub with over 22,000 commuters traveling through on a daily basis and over 6,000 hospital workers and students just a block and half away at Temple’s Medical Campus.

Initial plans include 20,000 SF of ground floor retail and 90+ units of 1-bedroom and studio apartments.  Plans for Phase II also include the design of a public space that will seek to augment and strengthen Triangle Park directly across Broad Street. Shift will work closely with community leaders and stakeholders of Broad & Erie to assist in the continued programming of the overall project.
